@Crow i'm a grown adult, it's fine. Their are no parts in their that would or could harm a person. it is up to the user to decide if they wish to take the batteries out or not. I prefer not to as I can quickly turn it on and off to make sure the process is still going smoothly

Always remove the batteries before doing this. Just in case. Not that it will hurt you but never ever play with any electronics with batteries in it.
