We already know about the Gloom Beach Dolls, and they came out last month......Did Mattel give any spoilers for new monster high lines comming out?, I herd there was a new line called "Dead Tired" that is comming out.

@Tegan I haven't had much leg problem besides my Lagoona's left leg. I do believe some kids are reckless and their parents are too reluctant to say that, they believe they're child wouldn't hurt a fly sort of thing. I have written reviews for MH and I have included, if the doll breaks your child is too tough on it.

It said new students and stories, I wonder if they're talking about, like, maybe making a ghoulia yelps GB or something? I hate to stir up rumors but I'm just wondering about that. Don't take this as me saying "there will be a new GB ghoulia according to mattel" Because that's not what I mean. It's a serious question.

@Sadie, someone is just speculating on the delay, there isn't any confirmation I've heard of that would be an actual delay. The leg problems are pretty much associated with the girl dolls so we might see Clawd rather soon, especially since he's been getting more attention in the webisodes and the teaser photo. Also, I honestly think people are being somewhat reckless. I'm not saying their complaints aren't without merit, but it is an issue that can be fixed rather easily on your own. Hardcore doll collectors often have to fix elasticity to make their dolls more pose-able. The main reason as to why I'm skeptical is that I've not had a single problem with my dolls and I own every single one of them. The worse thing that happened to me was that my Jackson Jekyll doll didn't have the thing that kept him attached to the stand. My Gloom Beach dolls also have rather flimsy legs, but I pulled on them quite a bit and they didn't snap off. It's probably just luck of the draw. But this is not an issue that will result in a nine month delay, half a year delay. They are riding too much on this line for that long of a delay. I would not expect them to wait til Q3 to release a new doll. Sometime in Q2 is about as late as I think they'll go, especially if all the lines they've had planned for this year are accurately reported.

@Tegan I think I heard the delayed release is for a leg fix. I know Mattel doesn't fix a problem until there are 3,000 complaints. I think there had been way over that after the amount of doll break I've heard of.

what a total bummer!

@Nikki they most likely will be out in mid-spring. Late March will be the earliest and I would say May the latest. Probably to coincide with the new book in the novel series being released. Again, I don't know for sure but they would not be able to hold out till Fall for anything new in the franchise other than electronics. Things are slow now that the holiday rush is over where they were releasing just about everything that was ready while it was hot.

It is disappointing that Mattel didn't come forward with more at Toy Fair but I guess we just have to keep our ears to the ground - Gloom Beach Frankie is adorable though...

Toys R Us has been getting a lot of the Sakar electronics you had shown us in the video. Other than that there probably won't be any new 'dolls" until the Fall knowing Mattel.
