Monster High Classroom Doll Assortment
Mattel toys is taking orders from their retailers for yet another series of dolls. The "Monster High Classroom Doll Assortment" is scheduled to be available in early 2011. They will retail for about $20 (so they must be something more than basic fashion dolls. Perhaps they have additional outfits or accessories). Unfortunately, we have not word as yet on names or how they look. However I will be visiting with Mattel in January, and may have more information after that.On a related note: The Gloom Beach series of Monster High dolls is still available to order from Mattel. Its looking more and more like these will not ship until 2011.
The Dawn of the Dance series of Monster High dolls is not longer being offered to retailers by Mattel. This might indicate that this series is being set aside for a retailer exclusive. That is, to be available only through one channel.

I'm really not so sure that the new Frankie, Cleo, and Clawdeen dolls belong to this set. Have you seen the official drawing of Draculaura in the school paper outfit (it was revealed on the Monster High Facebook site)? The classroom assortment is cleo clawdeen and frankie and they have the new dotd people out too but saddly/stupidly no draculaura among them how rude!

I'm assuming that the teaser picture of Draculaura on Clawd's shoulders has something to do with this Classroom Assortment. Draculaura comes with a good umbrella, an icoffin, and a nice outfit, which would explain the higher price tag associated with this set.
I'm wondering if the Clawd in that picture will be released as part of this Classroom set in the same way that Jackson Jekyll was released as part of the Gloom Beach set, or if that was his original doll version?

Aww, I wish they were still offering "The Dawn of the Dance" series of Monster High dolls. Oh, well. Maybe they are being sold at ebay!
Well, can't wait 'till the new Monster High Dolls come out! I'll be looking forward to it!
