Exactly as it sounds. MHD collectors who are 20 years and older. I'm 29 and would like to find some other collectors who love the dolls and buy them for themselves, not their children (if they have kids, which I don't) or their younger siblings (of which I have none).

So I think most of us are in a agreement that Mattel is bombarding us with new dolls/merchandise all over the place. A little overwhelming, to say the least. We know we don't want all of them, well…Continue

I never collected when I was younger. I think that's because Barbie was really the only lne that was out, and I hated Barbie. Fell in love with the MH line, and haven't looked back. I figured I would…Continue

My question, which I should have asked on this discussion board, as I would never have been judged so harshly:"Mattel has rereleased Abby, or is in the process of doing so. Is Mattel planning on…Continue

Has anyone gotten the school playset? If you did, what do you think of it?It's only $80 on Amazon right now, which still isn't cheap, but it's better than it was! I'm sort of thinking about it.Continue

;) No worries, Witchbaby - as for myself I'm glad to be here, and in the presence of other odd like-minded individuals! I'm also looking forward to the Boo York line - at the moment, they aren't coming cheap in Canada! Ummmm... but that hasn't prevented me from collecting one or two.....
Hey guys! I'm so sorry for being MIA. I've joined a few FB pages as I'm more active on there, but that is no excuse for not checking in now and then and clicking "Allow". I'm so sorry! Keep on collecting! And I don't know about you, but I'm ecstatic about the Boo York Line! <3
Thanks...sorry I haven't been on here for ages, only just saw this now

Dracuvelyn: My friend has the same problem with this pack too. In my opinion it is a reason for sales returns. It is not normal and Mattel should know it.
I'm worried about my gloom beach 5 pack now! :( when I took them out of the box all their hair was greasy and it even left 'grease' marks on the box where their heads were attached! Their hair smells awful too
lis b: I bought my Rochelle sometimes in summer. I found her hair quite oily now - after a half of the year (not just at the roots, but whole hair). Not so oily like the hair shown in the pictures in that article, but I didn't want to wait for total destruction of her, so I rather sold her. Btw. I pray for the next Rochelle (Ghouls Nigh Out) to be made in the Chinese factory. I would like to buy her - she is so beautiful!
Btw. if you can, please sign this petition: https://www.change.org/petitions/mattel-stop-using-glue-in-the-manu...
I keep hearing about the glue thing too which upsets me because Rochelle is one of my favorite dolls. Her hair is a little waxy at the roots on the back of her head but not too bad but I'm scared it might get worse . How long had you had yours? Was their hair really bad? I got my for my bday in May.
I have to share my feelings with you. Recently I discovered this article - http://here-be-dolls.weebly.com/indonesia-problems-and-defects.html - and the mentioned facts almost ruined all my joy of this hobby. I checked the backs of my girls and 5 of them were from Indonesia. Then I checked their hair and two of them had it oily. I started to panic and sold all my Indonesian dolls. Now I feel sad and empty. I mourn for Skull Shores Frankie the most. I wish I would find her Chinese version with clean head.
Just checking in! Hey everyone and Happy New Year
