News and Reviews of Monster High Dolls, Plush Toys, and More!

Starting tonight with some previews, the annual New York International Toy Fair begins.  Toy Fair is an event held by the entire toy industry to show off the upcoming years wares to retailers so that they can prepare and plan their ordering for the year - including Christmas already!

Toy Fair is not a public event like a comic con - you cannot attend unless you are in the industry or a retailer, so we have to rely on reporters and the press to show us what is new and exciting.  This year should be a very exciting year for Monster High fans as MH enters it's fifth year and reigns as the second most popular doll line in America (and many other countries!).

Mattel will be officially showing off to the public on Sunday, as is their tradition.  However, before then we will likely see pictures of the booth, or of other toy lines of interest to us, like Once Upon a Zombie.

Please use this thread as a catch-all for all of the news and images you find from Toy Fair.  If they're all in one place, it will be easier for everyone to see.

To start off, here are some links to websites that are attending Toy Fair and will be taking pictures:

Looks like Once Upon a Zombie is getting deluxe packs with an extra outfit.  Sure would be great if some of us could find those in stores. :/

Any clear pics of Zombie Dance?

Something must be darn wrong with my eyes because I still can't see the horn O_O

^me neither. Also I hope he still has a horsey tail!

I too have never seen OUAZ at any of my stores, they look cute from what Ive seen online.

I bought two from the manufacturer last year, and they're incredibly cute.  It'd be great to be able to find them locally instead, though!

I LOVE Neightan's design; everything from the rainbow streaked hair, to the wacky corpse motif, and the toddler-construction-toy yellow molded plastic pieces. I'm extremely picky as to which characters I will collect and he's an insta-buy for sure.

I tried lookin for OUAZ on google. Theres some pics of art with the Zombie girls together with zombie Peter Pan, Alice & Pinocchio... also a Pirate line! But I have no idea if this is fanart or actual concept art. A pirate line that are dolls & not action figures would be AWESOME!

I love the dresses on those create a Monsters! Face... Uhh not sure.. Maybe in person?
I love Lagoonafire! The colors are great. Neightan,... Uhhh what? I'm ok with Cleolie. And where is Clawvenus?!?
Werecat twins look so ghoulish! Love them! Where's Venus and Rochelle?
There's blurry photos of Clawvenus. I still can't tell. Seems.. interesting. I wish it was clearer.

So for those who have been through this before with the toy fair, what are the odds that we'll see much more between now and the end?

It's actual art!  I follow their official Facebook page, and they're interested in turning out a pirate line plus more fairytale characters.  I just wish the line was gaining more popularity, the dolls are gorgeous.

So.. people have seen Clawvenus?
