K, so I was brushing my Lagoona's hair and I notice something is wrong with her leg, so I looked closer and found THIS:

I've never had a doll do this before and I've had dolls since I was like... a preschooler. So much for all those hours I spent looking for her. What should I do?

Ugh, my favourite doll is broken. I am SO upset. =(

There a way to fix it Genevieve I can you you the link right now with the tutorial. Here it is:

If you follow the instructions correctly it should be fixed. I hope none of my dolls break, but if they do I rely on this link.

Thank you so much.

So this is common defect?

A little. Removing clothes is the main reason. My Frankie almost broke by me trying to take off her dress. I managed to stop it before it could luckily, but I managed to take it off later. So be very careful when taking off their clothes.

Stuff like this never happens if you are careful, You must of been pulling on her leg to hard. you can't fix it now that it's all the way off. You could report it to Mattel and they might send you a new one, but I'm not sure.

I never took off her clothes. =(

Well if you buy the fashion packs and if you get her fixed you should be careful. Very careful.

You should maybe, if you want to go this far, call Mattel because loads of people have had the same thing happen to them, with the doll just HOURS out of the box and they had been handling it gently, because it's an error in how they decided to put the leg on with their design.

I did that right after she had her anatomical accident.. I was transfered to a department that wasn't there. Then I called back and got the same guy on the main line and he asked, "May I ask for your order number?" I said "I didn't buy the doll on the website, I bought it in a store." And then he said "Oh, I'm sorry I only deal with online customer's problems."

Then I went on eBay and bought another one because I just wanted a Lagoona I could play with and didn't want to fight for months for a replacement. She arrived yesterday and she seems sturdy.. Time will tell.

Er, I don't treat my dolls that way.

same think happened to my holt doll i was just trying to make him sit then his leg came off. i only had him like a week, something is wrong with the machines that put the dolls together i think. i did try and fix him, but his legs are really lose, so i'm thinking getting another and turning this one into a OC or something. =-.-= *sighs*
Man that sucks, my dad has been having over the phone problems with verizon, if that makes you feel better even if it's not relevant to this discousion.
