No offense, Robert, but without proof I'm going to say I doubt that. There are some Slow Mo's out there, so it is possible that one random Slow Mo showed up in Florida, but even if that is the case it doesn't mean that next week people all over the country are suddenly going to start finding them anywhere, much less their local Target stores. It's not happening.

It was said on Facebook that he had been found in store, wouldn't surprise me, we all know it was going to happen eventually.

i deleted my real response and not gonna argue...

Look, I'm not the guy who always says "Proof or it didn't happen" straight out of the gate. I'm the guy who says lets give people the benefit of the doubt when sightings are reported and we'll see soon enough. But I'm trying to tell people this Slow Mo situation is a different animal. And really, I don't even have to tell people anything, because Ghoul Spirit has been out for weeks now and only a handful of Slow Mo's have been found all over the world. The evidence speaks for itself.

Everyone is certainly entitled to ignore me and continue searching until they are satisfied. There's nothing to argue about in that respect.

For me to say, in this situation, that proof is in order is completely reasonable. Otherwise, I will argue that people are getting caught up in a frenzied search that will end unsuccessfully and for any of us to encourage that, without proof, is not beneficial to the fan community.

No i'd be in the "proof or it didn't happen" camp as well. No sense in wild goose chases for people, and right now searching for Mo feels like a wild goose chase.

well all u have to do is go to the facebook monsterhigh page and the guy posted a pic..ask him if he's bs'ing

I saw the pic. So, maybe that guy got lucky, and I'm genuinely happy for him. In that case, assuming it's not BS, here's the link so people have the option to ask him or decide for themselves: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10200466744431551&set=o...

Personally, it changes nothing. Let's tally. We have one person with pictures from a Slow Mo that ordered off Amazon, one person with a Slow Mo they found in Australia, and now one guy says he found one in Florida? Am I missing anyone? Meanwhile, many many many many collectors have seen numerous cases of Ghoul Spirit everywhere, in nearly every major country MH is sold, with not a single Slow Mo in sight. And secondary market distributors are saying that he has been pulled from all shipments and his production was stopped - that's the message they are getting from Mattel and giving their customers in some cases.

That's an awfully small amount of mo's. You'd think in such an active community we'd be seeing more than just 3 very scattered sightings.

Exactly. And even if I'm missing a few sightings we'd likely be talking no more than 5 or 6 sightings throughout the entire MH on-line community. That's never happened before even with the rarest of dolls (for example Justice Holt). And Slow Mo is not even a store exclusive. Even Picture Day Operetta with the wrong mask - which we all know was temporarily pulled to fix the mask, was seen in greater quantities than this.

To be clear, I'm not trying to tell people to give up hope of getting a Slow Mo. I'm saying that all evidence points to the probably that there is no hope at this moment. We simply need to wait for now. Picture Day Wave 2 was released around end of April/beginning of May and we didn't find an Operetta with the correct mask (and personally never saw the one with the incorrect mask even once before that) until around late October/early November. That's six months to correct the problem and ship the correction to stores.

So, assuming that Slow Mo was pulled for the hands issue I'd expect we will need to wait at least a few months until he becomes available again. I know that not all of the ones that have been found have the wrong hands, but all rumors and indications point to hand mold issues as the reason for the pull, and I think that's a reasonable thing to accept.

PD Operetta has been a nightmare to find! I haven't gone to Costco, but on shelves at other retailers I've only ever seen her once (Target). And I've opened cases at wm, target and tru looking specifically for her. She's just not in the assortments. :(

PD oppy was easy as pie to find in the UK, I mean... everywhere. She never disappeared from our shelves. So hmmm...

Much like we never saw the no clawd sweet 1600 assortments.

My HOPE is we'll end up seeing a lot of Mo, but on the flip side, my fear is we'll never see the slo mo assortment at all.

*gulp*

Boy dolls, they always make me anxious because Mattel still hasn't proven they can do this right.
