I recently bought a doll from the Goodwill and she appears to have, what looks like, lip liner on her face. I'm not a make up person, so I'm not sure if lip liner is oil based or not. But I'm trying to figure out how to get it off. I'm thinking the "ZapZit" treatment but I want to try everything I can before trying that (Just because it takes so long and the liner is all over her whole face). any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
hmmmmmm. maybe post a pic if possible, not sure. Lip liner> or sharpie?
Oxi clean MIGHT work......(Lip liner) however........sharpie OR similar issue.......(I haven't found any solution, except a full repaint for a cover up as a custom)
I'm pretty sure it's lip liner, it's got some sparkly shimmer to it, lol. I've never dealt with real makeup on a doll before, this is a new one for me. Lol.
Lip liner is made mostly of wax and oil with pigment. There may be other variables depending on company, but mostly wax and oil.
Thanks! That's very helpful. I'm not really a makeup person so I don't really know what most makeups have in them. Thanks again! :D
