I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to go about removing the body paint (Frankie's stitches, Cupid's arm and leg designs, etc) for customizing. I am currently working on a custom doll with a base Cupid, but I can't get the white lacy designs off of Cupid's limbs. Can you even get them off? If so, what are the methods you've used to remove body paint?

All I've been able to try is scrubbing with acetone, but that isn't working.

I used ethyl alcohol and a scrubby pad to remove the black paint from Cupid's limbs.  Bear in mind that some versions of her have those parts cast in black instead of white so you may just have to repaint instead.

Thanks! I kind of hope mine is cast in black, as I was hoping to use it as part of the custom and just take off the lacy designs, but either way works.
