News and Reviews of Monster High Dolls, Plush Toys, and More!

I have closed the first thread and we are starting a new one here.

If you have customized or modified or made some clothes for your Monster High dolls, please put them here :)

Rules:  Okay, this is really about staying sane with the the photos.

1. Please if you respond to someone, cut the photos from your response- or at least make them much smaller- like thumbprint size.

2. Put up one full size photo with links to the other photos that are of the same doll.

3. You can adjust the size of your photos when you upload them- make them 400 pixels width instead of the 750 and they are plenty big enough.  Give it a try- it is easier to scroll and see the photos if you do this.

Share!  We love to see what other people are doing!  That is the whole point of this thread.

Do you happen to have any other customs in the works? I've been stalking lurking on your dA and I love some of the ones you've done. :D

I just happen to hate the face mold for the Cat CAM even though her faceup is so pretty~

Peloría :  Beauty :)    Her hairstyle is creative- and goes so well with her pretty face.

Hey thanks guys!
Melusina,
I don't have anything in particular lined up for now. I have a closet full of unassembled CAMs that keep asking to be painted. I'm so flattered you recognize me on DA! So cool!

I was eager to get my hands on the glow in the dark CAM parts - and my friend suggested making a firefly girl. :) I really love how she turned out - despite her lack of lip definition. She's into science due to being so "bright". (ba dum - tsh!)

The new CAM lap dolls are somewhat of a let down... the lack of lips is a bit of a bother - not horrible though. There is a nose and a tiny bit of eye definition. As for the decals... BARF! They are completely transparent. They make great stencils... but that's about it. This girl has had her decals completely painted over.

The CAM parts are really neat - and glow brightly! So I can't hate the new additions completely - but if you're buyng the CAM lab for your younger child... they will most likely be disappointed by the cruddy transparent look of the decals, and also how easily they just schluff off. You'll need some good sealant and even acrylic gloss to keep those things on.

Such a vivid orange.

These also don't come with matching upper limbs do they? Annoying.

I like the idea but the lack of face definition and the lack of a full body in the pack really puts me off.

she looks cute though, I like her outfit heh.

Yes yes - the upper limbs mismatch! Drives me bonkers considering the full CAM sets have full bodies. What's up with that?

Oh man.  I would so make these into zombie dolls.  I can see it all in my head!  I'd use the lack of lips... The last thing I need right now is something new to do, but ...

You did a great job with her Dr. F.  The colors are stunning :)

Today I made my first Monster High doll outfit  (well first doll outfit ever)

Thought I'd share! :)

here's a link to the other shot of it click!

These were sewn by hand, and my first time ever sewing something so small! They're made out of stretchy material, so they just slip on :)

She looks pretty cool! My add on packs should get her soon. Do you think the face tattoos will work on normal dolls? I'm going to try it and see if it works... I'll post my results later.

This is Sylvia. She's a sea monster. I finished her in June.

Wow!  Great job!  She looks cute.  Sewing for these girls is tricky :)  So glad you shared.
