News and Reviews of Monster High Dolls, Plush Toys, and More!

I haven't seen a single Coffin Bean at any store in chicagoland.  And its not on any major retailers website. Do you guys think it was accidently released, a test product, or not going to be produced anymore beacuse of limited interest??

Anyone have any offical word from mattel about it's release?? I dont think it was one of the things shown at the comic con a few months ago. All the ones on ebay are in rural locations, which would say to me it is a test run, to see how good it will sell.

Any ideas??

The only place I've seen it online as far as major retailers goes is K-Mart, but it's always sold out.  I know it was available a couple weeks ago, but was sold out by the time I clicked on it.  I sure hope it wasn't a test run!  Although there is supposed to be a Costco's exclusive (which I have no hope of getting) coming up that includes Draculaura as well as Clawdeen, from what I have heard.

well you do have a chance of getting it on ebay around November because in California and Missouri they do have Costcos and it is most likely that there will be some and really it is worth the wait if you like the Draculaura doll because why have two coffin beans when you can have one? But currently as of now I havent seen them either! Illinois never gets anything new! D:

I'm sure it's not gone.  Monster High stuff always goes out of stock and stays that way for a while.  The stores will get new shipments, but they will probably sell out quickly when they do.

Wait....the Coffin Bean isn't a K-Mart exclusive, is it??  I know K-Mart usually has new products on their website faster than other retailers, but because people seem to only be talking about Kmart when they find this in stores, that got me wondering.  I hope not...they closed all the KMarts in my town years ago!  I only have their very fast-selling website to rely on!

really to be honest, they did that with the gloom beach 5 pack. I think it was just for a way to sell the item because of the stock most likely.

I am super on top of new monster high stuff coming out, with the exception of dotd duece and 2 wave clawdeen, I have every doll monster high ever produced and 75% of those are from finding them in stores.

BUT this coffin bean I have called around to many kmarts and have not found it. It also seems that not many people seem to care about getting it.

Another big clue to it's rarity is that there are only 6 on ebay, last time I looked. SO there must not have been very many produced, because usually there are a ton on ebay when a items is released.

ABOUT THE COST CO EXCLUSIVE... Anyone want to start protesting this now??? I mean calling up mattel and complaining that it's not fair, since you have to have a membership to buy it?? I think it would work because, they included 2 torsos in the new cams, probably becuase of complaints. THINK about it??

I just bought the coffin bean playset from KMart last week....they only had 2, I live in Memphis TN.

Which is exactly my point, the third largest city in the country doesnt get any ever, but the 20th largest city does?? Thats weird, right?

very weird!  AND i searched everywhere for it and only could find it at KMart :(

I don't think it's been fully released yet. EE still has it available for pre-order and it's listed available in July.

I think it's just a fluke that Kmart has it already.

What is EE?

Distribution doesn't go by which city is the largest...it goes by whichever city is closest to the distribution center, which retailer sorts the items and ships them to stores first, etc. etc.

This is a case of you needing to be patient; the playsets and larger ticket Monster High items tend to be readily available a couple months after their initial release.
