How can you tell if you have a wave 1 doll??? I think a do but I am not sure.

I think I have a few wave ones but I am not sure.  How can you tell?  Is it the date on the box?

It is so funny how doll makers change the dolls to make them better....yet a lot of the time collectors luv the orginals. However,I like the new claw hands better on Clawdeen.
